Marialane Schultz is an independent consultant for Quiet Power, Inc,(QPI), bringing more than 25 years of successful leadership and employee development experience to the company. She has served in executive positions where she was responsible for major business operations, strategy, and policy in both the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) and at Fannie Mae. As a key leader for both organizations, she has a track record of success in delivering results and in leading employees through complex changes.

In partnership with QPI, she has worked very successfully with a variety of DLA organizations and key leaders and has consistently received outstanding feedback from her executive coaching clients.

Currently, Ms. Schultz provides consultative coaching services to a variety of public, non-profit, and private sector clients. This includes executive coaching for Georgetown University's Executive Masters in Leadership Program.

Until recently, Ms. Schultz served as the Vice President of Fannie Mae's Mortgage-Backed Securities (MBS) Program Office and was responsible for managing policy, strategy, and information technology for over $2.5 trillion in MBS securities. Through this role and other leadership roles at Fannie Mae, Ms. Schultz offers extensive experience and knowledge in trust compliance, security disclosure requirements, and in managing large-scale operations for both cash and MBS acquisitions.

Prior to Fannie Mae, Ms. Schultz served as the Deputy Executive Director of the Defense Contract Management Agency's (DCMA) Business Operations, Workforce Development, and Strategic Planning. She was responsible for overseeing 14,000 personnel worldwide who managed nearly 350,000 defense contracts valued at over $900 billion.

Before her post at DCMA, Ms. Schultz served as a senior staffer to the Clinton Administration in the Office of the Federal Environmental Executive.

Ms. Schultz earned her degree in Economic and Social Development from the School for International Training, Brattleboro, Vermont and holds the following professional designations:

  • Graduate, Georgetown University's Leadership Coaching Program
  • Certified Leadership Coach, International Coaching Federation
  • Certified Corporate Trust Specialist (CCTS), Institute of Certified Bankers
  • DAWIA Level III Certification, Department of Defense Acquisition University
